A photographic exhibition exploring the gift of human life and the building blocks that contribute to our humanness and individuality, will open in Adelaide in November.

“Body and Soul” brings together Adelaide photographers Naomi Clarke, Paul Clarke, Dianne Davies, Paul Tait and Mandi Whitten, who each have a distinctive approach to their work. Their collaboration aims to investigate the complex duality of body and soul.

“If conscience were the voice of the soul, passion would be the voice of the body,” said Jean-Jacques Rousseau

The exhibition will be officially launched at 7pm on Wednesday 4 November 2009 at the Edgewater Gallery, by Derrick McManus, Inspirational Speaker and Educator:

The Edgewater Gallery is one of Adelaide's newest art exhibition spaces present the talents of some of Adelaide's leading artists. Located in the vibrant Port Adelaide precinct at 87 Carlisle Street, Ethelton, the Gallery is open daily from 10am to 5pm. This is a wheelchair friendly environment.
