Yes, that sounds more technically comprehensive than my K10D, but the better pictures will still rely on the operator, so I might just save the money.

We are yet to see this camera, but it is reviewing well, and while it is true better pictures is partially the operator a better tool is always helpful. When it is available in the next few weeks feel free to pop past the store and have a look.

The other main feature is the cool new video mode which can be used to make movies at a very high standard. To see videos taken on a DSLR (5D MKII) click here.

I am keen to have a look I have a K20D & a 5D MK11 I actually the prefer the Pentax to the Cannon to use. We have just spent a week at the Gold Coast & other then work I didn`t take 1 personal shot with the canon & took in excess of 1000 with the Pentax.They are a highly underated camera.

Hi Ian

Pentax do make fantastic cameras and are underated by many however as the 5D MK II is full frame model it may not be fare to compare them directly.

We do have a 5D MK II in our hire kit and both cameras are in stock. You are welcome to come past the shop and try both for yourself.

At This stage if looks like the K7 will be in store late July, it always takes a few months for new releases to hit the country.
